Logline
Saddled with his newborn, seventeen-year-old Zackarias struggles with fatherhood and bringing his family back together, while navigating overwhelming Athens, away from his rural home.
Synopsis
Zackarias and Sofia are a teenage couple from the countryside, who move to Athens to hide Sofia's pregnancy from her parents. Zackarias' pickup truck becomes their temporary home, while they wander aimlessly through the streets of Athens with the baby. Their only company is Petros, a queer boy in the early stages of his transgender transition to a girl, who befriends Sofia and takes care of the baby. Sofia, caught between the responsibilities of motherhood and Zackarias' passivity, abandons them, and returns to the village, turning things upside down. Zackarias does everything in his power to bring her back and prove to her that he can take care of them. With Petros' help, he gets a job, sells the pickup truck, and gets an apartment in which the two teenagers will form an atypical family and a peculiar interdependent relationship that they will be forced to redefine with Sofia's return.
