Thomas Hailer has been working as a dramaturg and script consultant since 1995. He accompanied the development of Bernd Sahling's DIE BLINDGÄNGER (LOLA, German Film Award 2004) and Claus Strigel's 'The Last Man Alive', the film- and series adaptation of the all-time-classic by A.S. Neill. His most recent projects as a dramaturg include 'MISSION ULJA FUNK' by Barbara Kronenberg, produced by Roshi Behest-Nedjad's In Good Company. As Head of studies at the Academy for Children's Media, he has been responsible for the curriculum and project support in the lab for over 20 years. From 2002 to 2008 he was head of Generation, the Berlinale section for young audiences. From 2008 to 2019 he was responsible for the program of the International Competition as Berlinale Curator alongside the festival director. Since 2017 he is certified as Systemic Change Manager. From 2021 he will be Artistic Director of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck.

After his studies at the NYU film school, Jacques Akchoti has worked in different areas of film production with directors such as R.Bresson, JJ. Beineix, L. Von Trier.
He then became a screenwriter, script consultant, and headed the development of many French and international films for cinema and television, which obtained selections and awards at major film festivals. Most recently, A Screaming Man by Haroun Mahamat Saleh, recipient of many awards, notably the Jury Prize at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.
He has directed a feature film for television and written several screenplays. His latest
script, Don’t Look Back, a film by Marina De Van featuring Sophie Marceau and Monica Bellucci was part of the Official Selection of the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
Jacques has been teaching writing and directing at the Femis (National French Filmschool) since 1988 and has facilitated many international screenwriting and development workshops, including EAVE, Sud Ecriture, DV8 films, Vision Cinema, Ekran, Interchange, etc.
Eran Riklis is one of Israel's most acclaimed film makers and has been working as director, writer and producer for over thirty years. Riklis is a graduate of the National Film & TV School in Beaconsfield, England and also studied at the film department of the Tel Aviv University.
