Aurit Zamir

Aurit Zamir graduated with special honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School. In 2008 she started her production company Gum Films, with partner Yoav Roeh. The company has produced narrative and documentary feature films as well as drama series. Among them: The Testament (Venice FF, Haifa FF Best Film), Manpower (Palm Springs, Haifa FF- Fedeora Film Critics Prize), Off White Lies (Berlinale Generation, Annonay FF Best Film), Asia (Residence du Cannes, winner of Sam Spiegel alumni fund). In addition to her work as a producer Aurit has directed award winning shorts, among them Babysitter (Haifa FF- Best Film, Flickers Rhode Island- Best Director). She is head of the production studies at Sam Spiegel Film and Television School. In January 2020 Aurit became director of the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab.
